Copyright & Takedown Requests

PageBloom respects the rights of artists and creators. Every book on the marketplace is uploaded by an independent publisher who has confirmed they own or control the rights to it. If you believe a book on PageBloom uses your work without permission, we will investigate promptly and remove infringing content.

Email support@pagebloomstudio.com with the subject line "Copyright Takedown" and include:

• Your full name and contact information (email and, if possible, a mailing address).
• A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, and proof that you own it or are authorized to act for the owner (for example, links to where your original work is published).
• A link to the book or page on PageBloom that you believe infringes your work, with enough detail for us to find it.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).

This follows the notice requirements of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

• We acknowledge valid requests within 2 business days.
• We remove or disable access to the reported book while we investigate, and we notify the publisher who uploaded it.
• The publisher may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was a mistake (see below).
• Publishers who repeatedly upload content they don't own are permanently removed from the marketplace, and their unpaid earnings may be withheld to cover refunds to buyers.

If your book was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, email support@pagebloomstudio.com with the subject line "Copyright Counter-Notice" and include:

• Your name, contact information, and the book that was removed.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where PageBloom may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the original complainant. Unless they file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the book.

If a book you purchased is removed because it infringed someone's rights, you will receive a full refund of your purchase, including any printed copy that has not yet shipped.

Knowingly filing a false takedown request or counter-notice can carry legal liability. Please only file if you genuinely believe your rights (or the rights of someone you represent) are being infringed.
